FREQUENTED among the locals, the Farragut Connector currently provides a shortcut for families and school children, and for cyclists an alternative to vehicular traffic on Braddock and Culver Blvds. As the junction to the City’s future Farragut Drive Bike Blvd. project, the improved & widened passageway, whose construction will start in the fall of 2023, will create safe passage between Duquesne and Overland Avenues, enhanced by new landscaping, lighting, bike signage, and traffic calming devices.
