COLONIAL AVENUE

After a remodel, this front slope was planted with a no mow variety of creeping red fescue and water conscious plants. In the back, the garden was designed with terraces and a series of outdoor rooms linking the house to the landscape at different elevations. A tiered cascading water feature, which can be viewed from all vantage points, takes advantage of the natural slope and masks the noise from the busy street behind. A large planting of timber bamboo lends privacy along the rear property line.
