COMMUNITY GARDENS STUDY

THIS STUDY explored three design models for a community garden within the City. Not site specific, the designs were imagined for differing site conditions, size and budget. Local community gardens were studied to guide the design and feature elements that make a community garden successful. These included site selection, management & stewardship, as well as basic design elements, such as fencing, tool storage, shade, amenities, composting, and weed control.
